The RACI Matrix

In a transformation project, clarity of scope is the key factor for success. The RACI delineates the responsibilities of each person:

R = Responsible. It is the person who performs the task, who is responsible for this dimension of the project.

A = Accountable. This is the person who validates the choice, the real interlocutor with authority.

C = Consultative. This person can give his/her opinion and change the course of the deliberations.

I = Informed. This team member should simply be kept informed but not change the course of events.
